6th Installation Ceremony

Rotaract Alumni Mora stepped into its 6^th year, marking the end of the service of a remarkable year. The installation ceremony for the Rotaract year 2018/19 was ceremonially held at the Olympic House Auditorium, Colombo 7 on 15th July 2018.

After lighting up the traditional oil lamp, the Rotaract formalities were followed. Rotaract Alumni Mora having spent its most glorious year yet, winning numerous awards at the District assembly including Most Outstanding Club, Most Outstanding President, Most Outstanding Digital Communications Project, Most Outstanding Public Relations Effort via Print Media and Most Outstanding International Service Project, humbly appreciated its members and Outgoing Board of Directors for the year 2017/18. The dedicated members of Rotaract Alumni Mora were awarded Spirit of Service Award for their commitment towards serving the community through the club.

The passing down of collar to the President for the year 2018/19 Rtr. Waruna Rasanga marked the dawn of a new era of Rotaract Alumni Mora. Then the theme for the rotaract year 2018/19 “Service Beyond self” was introduced by the president while revealing his plan for the year to achieve that.

Afterwards, the new board of directors for the year 2018/19 was introduced. The outgoing president Rtr. Himantha was appreciated for his exceptional service last year and was given an endearing send-off.
