As our country is currently going through a tough time, not everyone had the privilege to be physically present in the event. Yet, they were allowed to be virtually present via online platforms and join the ceremony as they officially took over the responsibility to begin a new chapter in their Rotaract journey.
The ceremony officially commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp after which Rtr. Iroshan Vidanage called the house to order once the dignitaries took their respective seats at the head table. This was followed by the conventional formalities; Rotaract pledge, Invocation, Four-Way test, flag salutation, and Rotaract Song.
Then the gathering was warmly welcomed by the co-chairperson of the installation ceremony, Rtr. Manul Thenuka with a mesmerizing speech.
